OMG!!!!

My niece just came over and was checking out my Christmas decorations. I have a Boyd's Bear version of the Nativity scene. She said "That's really cute Auntie, but I don't think Baby Jesus was furry! My niece is in 2nd grade at a Catholic school, so I can just imagine what she may say in class!!!

Oh-oh, I just bought the S'mores Nativity set--wonder what your niece would have to say about that?!

I was asking DD (now 4 years old) about what Christmas was really about. I knew that she knew (she goes to a catholic preschool and we talk abou it a home.) She thought for a while and then said

"Baby Jesusis"

Oh no, Jesus!. She likes to shorten everything and stick a y on end.

There is a house near here that has the nativity in their front yard. Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. But instead of wise men and the like, there is a santa, two teddy bear santas, a frosty, and a couple other things.
