We will be in WDW with our 6 month old grandson. Is it permissable to bring his glass jars of baby food into the parks? I'm not sure just what food items are allowed now.
Thank you for your help.

When we went in Feb you could. However, I actually prefer these plastic ones they sell now, you can resuse them as little tupperware type containers.

I saw those little plastic containers that hold baby food now and the lid recloses too for later use. I was wondering where they were when my child was a baby. LOL! Take the plastic ones instead.

No problem taking in the glass jars. I also use the plastic boxes, but they do tend to crush if you're not careful and your bag is loaded down.

I would like to know also. Where we live, they only sell fruit in the plastic containers, not veggies or meat.

It is the same were we live. They only sell select fruits in the plastic containers. I brought the glass jars into the parks no problem. The security gaurd checking our bags told us that was the only glass containers allowed in the parks.:)

Carrots and Squash also come in the plastic ones-- maybe other vegs too, but I just served my DD 6mo squash out of one 10 min. ago. I think I've seen peas at our store too.

On my son's first trip 5 mo...in early 2002, they were just (I mean they only had applesauce) coming out with the plastic containers. I brought in the glass ones to feed him without a problem. This would have to be very commonplace...as many young babies go to wdw...and they do need to eat :0)
