Baby float in Pool?

I'm not sure of the hotel's pool policies, so I would suggest calling the resort and asking someone at the desk. I would hate for someone to steer you wrong and you be told you can't use it after lugging it all the way to FL. The number should be (407) 393-5100. Good luck and I hope they allow them!

Generally yes.BUT if the pool is extremely crowded they may ask you to take it out of the pool for awhile. For older kids/adults Floats or rafts, loungers, large rings etc are not allowed.

Any number you call for a resort is answered by a CCC (Central Call Center). A CM will answer as if they are in the resort, when they are actually remotely located to the resort or even to property.

About 50% of the time, the CM's give out good information and 50% of the time they will give out bad information. The only time they will transfer you to the front desk of the actual resort if the call is deemed urgent to get in touch with a resort guest, or if the guest has an emergency and needs immediate attention.

I would hop over to the DVC board and get on the BWV thread and check there.

When we were at POR in September, we used the quiet pool twice and the first day, there was large raft (the kind you lay on), a large blow up dolphin and a noodle. On the second day, there were two noodles floating around. I'd guess someone brought them and didn't want to bring them back so they left them in the pool. The quiet pool isn't manned by a CM so no one was around to say anything, and no one seemed to have a problem with them. Since you'll be with your child in that blow up tube, I would say it shouldn't be a problem. The worst that can happen is they ask you not to use it.

As Missytara stated, when you call the published resort numbers you are getting a call center. You even get the call center if you are calling from your room. They don't want calls going to the actual front desk so that they can deal with the guests in front of them instead of being on the phone all the time.

On top of that, it would be up to the lifeguards on duty and how crowded the pool is at that time. If the lifeguards believe it will be a hazard for any reason they have the right to tell you not to use it, no matter what anyone else says.

Any time I've stayed in a villa, they've had noodles and floaty stuff available for the kids to use. I've seen plenty of baby floats with and without covers, so you'll be fine.

The pools when crowded get splashy and busy, too, so using the quiet pool near the Community Center would be your best bet.

Can you even take babies in the resort pools? My dd won't be potty trained when we go and I was assuming I couldn't take her in the pool.

If you have swim diapers on your child I'm pretty sure you can put them in the pool. Make sure the swim diapers fit properly though so they contain everything!

We stayed at BWV in October and had one of these for my nephew, took him in the pool in it every day and the lifeguards all loved him and talked to him. You shouldn't have any issues! :goodvibes My sister has also stayed at BLT with him and used it there without issues!

That's a pretty small float. I can't imagine anybody telling you that you can't use that. It doesn't take up any more space than an adult standing in the water would take up.

That's great news! We are staying at BC and I was thinking I wouldn't be able to swim with her.

Swim diapers don't contain urine so that's kind of gross although urine is sterile- makes me think twice about putting my head underwater ..lol
