we have some great turnage around here, i will take some pictures for yo uwhen we go up north next weekend.

we have actually talked about him being in commercials and sales ads for companies, wearing there clothes.

i think he would do great.

Caleb at birth

Caleb suntanning (under the blue lights to get rid of jaundice) looks like he is sitting on the beach....all he is missing is a drink in his hand!

I'll post later to show Caleb at one month. Do not have those pics uploaded yet!

very cute pictures, i love when they are that small and all curled up, my favorite is the feet pulling up to the chest....

those blankets are the same ones that we had in our doctors office, i wish they would have given us some, they were perfect for swaddling him but the ones we had at home just did not seem to work as good as the hospital..

cant wait for more.

the reason they work so well in the hospital is because they are sqaure. THe ones they sell commercially are rectangle...we were told this while we were in the hospital. We have been using these swaddle blankets that have velcro and they are awesome. Caleb sleeps so great in them that we went and bought more of them. You can find them at Babies r us and wal-mart (online haven;t seen them in store) that i have found. An idea for you when you guys would have another baby. They are going to be my standard baby shower gift from now on.

Caleb had his one month appointment yesterday. He now weighs 11lbs 10 oz and is 23 inches long. Dr thinks he will be rolling over in a couple of weeks as he already rolls to his side if on his back and to his stomach if he is on his side. Said most babies roll over around 4 mos...and I read if babies develop their motor skills early that they could be athletic which would make Daddy very happy.

Caleb at one month

Caleb as a Dalmation for Halloween. He is going as the Dalmation to his big cousin 2 yr old JJ's Fire Fighter costume. This picture is a costume still a work in progress because Grandma has not found something to make a dog charm yet (the red is ribbon made to look like a dog collar). They will make a very cute combination. Just too bad there is not a dalmation puppy in the wizard of oz as his other cousins on DH side of the family are going as the wizard of oz crew.

very cute pictures, and thanks for the info on the swaddles, i am sure he will be rolling over very soon, parker went from the back to the front at 1 month, and then it was a little longer before he went from his tummy to his back, now u cant stop him from rolling around and moving.. he is going to be crazyto try and stop when he gets older and is crawling and running around.

Well, this ist he last camping trip of the year with our trailer, we went 1 more time with my parents last weekend with theres up to michigan.

it was a great weekend, about 60 all weekend, only rained at night, and was so fun to not have to go with anyone, just relax as a family.

well DW's parents did come for a few hours but just to pick up our dog for a few weeks.

That's why you accidently put one in your diaper bag silly. Unfortunately none of my kids liked to be swaddled when they came home but I think my DD would have loved that blanket from Babies R Us. She was really colicy the first few months and I think that would have been somewhat of a help.

Yes it is. We go away with my mom every year (my dad passed away almost 10 years ago) and although we love having her around, especially the kids. This year we didn't go away with her because we're saving up for Disney next year but just me, DH and the kids went to Rhode Island for a couple of days and it was nice although my kids missed my mom.
