Thanks for sharing Candi`s labor with us. Seems like she had everything under control..It took me 2 babies to feel that..its so nice to hear a positive birth story, and that room sounds beautiful! A hot tub! thats awsome..we had rooms that are set up like bedrooms, very pretty, you have the baby there and stay there for the rest of your stay..
Was she able to keep Parker in the room 24/7? our hospital doesnt even have a nursery anymore. Baby is with you day and nite,,,
Cant wait to see pictures!!

the rooms used to be a litle bigger and you would stay there the whole time, now they have the floor broken up into two different sections so that the women in labor are not close to the ones recovering, and it is a little quiter in the recovery section.

yep there is a nursery, and they encourage you to bring your babies to them at night, and they will bring them back when they are hungry at night...it is great.

Wow what a true miracle baby Parkers birth came naturally....Candi was so ready to bring him into the world with the help of the Lord and the power of Positiveity....My wife had some drugs and still had several screams and about broke my hand...Hey I got the two most important categories correct... Boy and weight ....The earthquake woke up my wife and I with the bed shaking and windows rattlin and also a weird noise.

yeah you were probably alot closer to it than us, def. something that i will not forget.

God was def. on our side during the whole pregancy and labor for my DW. we were very thankful.

Some pictures within the first 30 minutes of Parkers Birth..

The proud daddy

Laying with mommy in the bed.

DW is taking a shower, there were 5 shower heads in the bathroom of the recovery room, it was a great shower, So me and Parker were chilling watching TV...While DW was getting ready for the day.

Funny story, this is the cribs that they have for all the babies, that roll around, they do not want you carrying your baby anywhere in the halls without the baby in it. So the night before we left, we had our celebratoin dinner.

Very good, Filets, tators, steak fries, wild rice, brocolli, salad, cheesecake, rolls, wine, etc.. the whole nine yards...well the nursery took Parker for us while we were eating. Once we were done, we went to go and get him, but the nursery was empty. Huh, were did our baby go.

I was not worried, they have ankel bracelets on the babies, kinda like a low jack system, when they get close to the exits, and elevators, the lights turn to a different color and if the door opens, an alarm goes off, and they lock down the elevators, and dont let anyone leave...A very good security system, so I knew he was safe, and on our floor, just did not know where he was.

So we walk around hte corner and back to our room. Well as we are walking back into our room, i look down the hall and see 3 nurses walking down the hall pushing a crib.

Well wouldnt you know it was little Parker and three ladies.

They took Parker to dinner with them. He went on a Triple date, and he was not even 48 hours old yet. Lucky little man. I have never even been on a double date with 2 ladies and he pulls 3 in his first few dayso n this earth.

I was so proud of my son.

Time to go home, He is all bundled up.

After his first bath at home...he was not a huge fan.

With his favorite lady, just chilin and showing some love.

Oh yeah, and DW is almost back down to her pre birth weight...She has about 7 more pounds to go. But she is not sure she wants to get that small, she was really skinny before she got pregant, she says she likes where she is at now.
