My DH and I are going to Disney for 3 days in June, I will be 6 months pregnant with our first, my nursery is going to be Disney and I was wondering if anyone knows if you can buy baby items at Disney, clothes, blankets, bottles........ Thanks for your help.

We did a Disney nursery and used a border that we found at home depot. You can also google search disney wall paper or disney border. I used stencils for around the top of the room and a hugh mickey head on the door. There is a place at downtown disney, world of disney that might have some stuff but there was another store there that had more of what you are looking for but the name ecsapes me. They even had mickey headboards. I would think that you might do better on the internet with prices on sheets and comforters and other stuff like that. Good luck.

--- There was a section with baby toys in the STORE.

We purchased a really cute plush ball with Baby Mickey on the top.
The ball would make jingling sounds when moved and it had "Walt Disney World" embroidered on it.

We gave this to our baby nephew after coming home from our last trip.

I think I remember seeing a Minnie one too, and some baby clothes.

Honestly, I don't think that Disney has a very large selection of baby products in the parks, the Disney Stores or online. I have been very disappointed with their selections, I think it is quite limited (and I think they are missing a huge opportunity). They do have a few items here and there (World Of Disney had the best selection). I am sure if you are creative you may be able to find things that work for you, but I had a hard time finding enough Disney items to do a cute Baby nursery so I went with a Safari/Animal theme. I will save the Disney room for when Brady gets a little older and moves out of his nursery.

If you have a Babies R Us store near you they have Classic Pooh and Disney Pooh baby stuff....bumpers, lamps, mobiles etc. At least they did about a year ago. I don't think their website has them though.

Target has a good selection of Classic Pooh for babies too.

Congrats on the new baby. I too will be 6 months(with our first) in June and visting the world. I was also trying to remember if there was anything down there, but unfortunately, I think the others are right.. only a few select things here and there. Im also doing the nursery in Disney, but am having a real hard time finding anything with Disney other then Pooh. I did find at Walmart.com (only online) they do have a Bambi set. but thats really it for Disney other then Pooh and Classic Pooh, and disney babies..
Babies R' Us still does have the whole bumper, crib sheet set etc. the one poster mentioned.

Have a great time!! :teeth:

I knew there would probably be some issues finding things to decorate a Disney nursery, so i've decided to paint smallish mickey heads (you know the 3 circles for his head and his ears) in all pastel colors all over the room. hopefully it will come out like i want...not pregnant yet, but we will be trying when we return from our October trip. :)

CONGRATULATIONS BY THE WAY!!!!

Try while you are there that is how we came home with our little souvinear! :)

I went pregnant last year and we found lots of baby stuff while we were there. We shopped for the future too though. We got outfits that were 6 months. They don't have a lot for newborns but if you go in the summer, shop for the next summer. Just some friendly advice. We had a lot of fun doing that.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

We were in the WDW in Feb. and we didnt find much of anything. We got our baby some clothes for next summer and this upcoming Feb. but I really didnt see anything that would go in a Nursery which is what I was looking for. I found a whole slew of stuff at Wal mart of all places which is where we got our Winnie the Pooh Border. We went to Home Depot and got paint there and the bedding is from Sears. We just kept looking everywhere. Another option which is what one of my friends did was she bought a whole slew of Mickey material and made her own curtains and bedding. Im making curtains but I liked the Peek-a-boo Pooh bedding too much to pull out my hair sewing bumper pads and blankets.

Thanks everyone, I will look in World of Disney while we are there. I have so many stuffed animals from our past 3 trips that I am using them on a shelf and I have art work. I am creative so I guess I'll just look around. Again thanks for the advice.

I would recommend looking at the Disney Outlet listed for Orlando. I know at the one in Fullerton California they had TONS of baby stuff, but that does change daily in many cases.

Just wanted to add that if you are going with a Pooh theme, there is a lot of things available not just in Disney but at other stores as well. I am a Disney purist though, and don't consider Pooh to be Disney so that didn't work for me.
