Baby BOY Names.... (that haven't been used to death)

Thanks to the person who posted the ssa website. Ive been looking at it for a while now :) Keep the names rolling!

If this baby had been a boy, he would have been Theodore (Ted/Teddy for short). I also liked Toby, Thomas and James.

My oldest DS middle name is Vaughn..
I haven't seen that listed and you don't hear it much..I love it!

My sons are Riley Sean and Rowan Christopher. We know quite a few Rileys but all are girls. We do not know any other Rowans except for Brooke Shields daughter. My daughter is Regan and we know a boy with that names.

Names are very fun to pick out

You're right. My Joey is and has been the only Joey since he's been in school. The only one! That's crazy.

My Danny - same thing. There's been a few Daniel's though....

I have a Danny! His full name is Daniel Robert. My other boys are Adam Thomas and Thomas Alan. Thomas is a family name. It is also my favorite name. He goes by Tommy or Thomas.

If I had another son it would be Leo or Gabriel.

My nephews are Brock, Chase, and Grant.

Boys are hard. My DH and I have had a girl's name picked out for probably 2 years and still can't agree on a boy.

DH's BF was almost named Wolfgang by his father but his mother wouldn't let him. (can't imagine why.:sad2:) DH swears that ANY guy would love to be named Wolfgang. That may be, but there is no.way.- Never.

We looked at the presidential names:

Harrison
Hamilton
Zachary
Kennedy
Jefferson
Theodore

But I wanted to name him Johann. George (a family name) won out. :)

We had two girls, but here are the boys' names I wanted:

Kyle
Evan
Cullen
Sullivan
Avery
Kellan
Sawyer

DH and I have no kids yet, but when we do have a child if it is a boy we're naming him Joseph Austin. Joseph was my grandfathers name, and we plan on calling him Joey or Joe for short. Austin is My DH and DFIL's Middle names.:goodvibes

Our 9 yr old DS is Eric Wilson,( Wilson is Dad's name.) We too had a tough time coming up with a boy's name. While we were stilll in the hospital, we couldn't agree on a name, so we both wrote down five names we each liked and compared lists. Eric was the only name on both our lists. Out of 150 kids in his grade, he is the only Eric.

My 3 y/0 son's name is Jameson! I wanted something you don't hear every day, but not something crazy and made-up, if you know what I mean! :) So far we have only met one other Jameson, and he was 9! :)

My DS's name is Ryan James. I know it's popular, but honestly we've only met one other Ryan that is close to his age. My nephew's name is Gage. I always liked that name, too.

That is exactly my son's name! but around here is doesn't appear too popular. I loved the name Ryan for such a long time and James was my grandfather who was more like my dad. :goodvibes

Boys names are brutal! Like many of the other posts DH and I had a long list of girl names that we liked. We had just one name that we liked for a boy. No family names were acceptable--DH hates both his names. My dad is a Michael and so is my BIL but that name was used for both my brother and my nephews.

Our strategy was to look at the last part of the ssa list. We figured these names were common enough that other kids won't make fun of them but hopefully weren't too popular. Both of our names have moved up especially Connor's and I'm hearing lots more of those.

If you name him Joshua (Josh) stay on his behavior morning, noon and night. I've been teaching for 16 years and this is the only name that every one of them I've taught has been consistently BAD! A few years ago I had 5...yes, 5 in one class. 2 of them were decently behaved the other 3 made me cringe everytime they came in the room. The other kids even had jokes about the "bad Joshs."

Also, watch the name Jeremy...in the south little kids can't say it and it becomes Germy. Not really something you want your kid called:) And in the south Hunter really does become Hunner. You can't fight it, it will only be a headache!

Here are mine--
Connor Reese
Logan Chase

How about Lunch? I am at our annual meetings for work and there is a guy here with the name Lunch--it is on his name badge. :lmao:
