For my "adopted DIS mommy!"
Aww, shucks, aren't you sweet? I feel like I'm MeMom to all of you kind girls -
punkin and VandyFan and Swans and k_reile....and more. Maybe we can all have a big old Dis meet in Disney World some day!
I wanted to put cute stuff on my greeting this morning, but I don't know how. Thanks for sharing your Beauty and Beast cutesie. I love it!
I talked to Trent after church for a few minutes. He's still in Louisville - they were pulling out of the church parking lot up there and I was pulling out of mine down here. They're going to eat out, and then tonight they will find out if they will be playing in a tournament. If not, Kristi will get to come down here for a few weeks before she goes to Europe. Drew gave me a hug on his way out the door a few minutes ago, and he straightened up downstairs for me. That's as good as it gets with him. Jill, John, and Brookie will be here later in the day. She called this morning and helped Brooklynn sing "Small World" for me. It was mostly Jill singing and every few second Brooklynn would chime in 'mall word'. She has the sweetest little voice. I can't wait to see her in a few hours.
Enjoy your day, all you good moms! I would start naming names and telling you all how special I think you are, but I'm afraid I'd leave someone out, so I'll just give you all my best thoughts and prayers for this special day and for all the routine, mundane ones in between. For all the cuts and bruises, spills on new carpets, crayon marks on walls, tears of joy and sadness, for all the worries, fears, and aggravations and the money that is spent on our kids, for everything big and small, our love for them and the blessings they are to us surpasses it all!
Have a great afternoon, all my Dis friends!
Yes,
declansdad, you, too. Even though you're not a mom. Or a girl. I wish you a good day!
