Baby allowed in pool?

Are babies in swim diapers allowed in the pools at WDW, or only in the baby pools or splash zones?
My daughter will be 9.5 months for our trip next month and I know on the cruise (Disney Magic) she can only be in the splash zone. I'm not sure if the same rule applies at the resorts. I actually don't remember seeing splash zones or kid pools at AKV Jambo House or at BLT. Never really had to look before though!

we stayed at pop when our son was your daughters age and there was a splash area. i'm not sure about the pool, because we never got there!

maybe call the resort to find out or call the 407-wdisney number??

ps--your daughter and my hubby share the same birthday!

I believe the rule is they are as long as they are wearing swim pants.

We took my son who was in swim diapers in the regular pool at the Pop.

My younger son swam in the pools at Poly and ANL wearing pampers swim diapers. They even sell the pampers swim diapers at the resorts.

My son went in the pool in swim diapers at both Saratoga Springs and Contemporary. He loved the pools!

Yeay! I'm so happy that we can take her into the regular pool as long as she's wearing swim diapers. She's going to have a blast.

Not a problem in swim diapers. DS has been in the WDW pools in swim diapers at age 6 mo, 8 mo, 13 mo ... and so on. We're hoping in our Jan 2011 trip he'll finally be out of swim diapers, but by then we'll have a new 7 mo old who will be swimming in swim diapers.
