Babnanas 11: "Boo-boo's are OUT, Toast is IN….

It's supposed to be nicer weather starting tomorrow. Hopefully it will last for the next several days.

I'm sure things will be great for your event.:goodvibes
Thanks! It worked! Sunny, although very windy until mid-afternoon and everyone had a blast at Snowfest. True, they had to create snow for the sledding, sliding and snowballs. And we had far too many folks singing Let It Go during the karaoke contest. :faint:

I checked the events list for 2015. The next pop-up is Vodka. I'm definitely going to try to get to that one.

It's in Feb. Plenty of time to jump on a plane. ;)
But not plenty of time for me to save up to come to pop up Vodkafest!

Hey everyone! For those inclined to, I could use a few extra prayers. My dad isn't doing so great these days. I'm trying to put together a trip to see him in the next couple of weeks. In the last 20 years he's had 2 heart attacks, a quad by-pass, a pace-maker installed, congestive heart failure, and is now dealing with respiratory issues. There's only so much a body can take..... :sad1:.
 You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

....falling on deaf ears......freezing rain here......:cold:
:flower3:

...from what I gather, the consensus is that dancing toast is passe`....I was thinking more of a grander scale...how about...it's so 'me', right?
Now if these were Krispy Kreme, you'd have it! :lmao:

I just don't see you as the round spinkly type. You are more toast with attitude. ::yes::
:scratchin Nah! Toast is dry, crumbly and rough. Kimmar might be a little of that, but she's a dancing Krispy Kreme doughnut inside! :thumbsup2

Morning, nanners!

Just ducking in really quick to say hi. My schedule has been a little crazy while I'm adjusting to the new job. Saturday I worked from 1-10pm with one fifteen minute break in between parties and I was wiped out. Took me two days to recover. Am not as young as I used to be. ;)

LegoMom, I will keep your dad in my prayers. :grouphug:

Finally spoke with my dad last night. I can hear in his voice how he's doing. And it took a lot of effort for him just to maintain a 5-minute conversation. Right now I'm hoping to go down for a visit around the first week of March. To do it sooner would have to be first week of Feb. and that's very short notice for me on this end. Unless something dire happens meanwhile, I think early March will work out best. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. :goodvibes

Legomom-Sending good thoughts and prayers your way.:goodvibes

kimmar-I love the donuts and sprinkles! Shall we hope they might dance?:dance3:

------And about the frog talk...I'm thinking unless it's one extremely cute frog, ixnay on the ogfray. ;) :drive:

Thank you. :flower3:

Well, seriously. When you're standing against a sink washing paint brushes and plates at 930pm because you can barely stand upright, you know you're not as young as you used to be.

I became a morning person when I had kids and now I'm having to balance between still getting up with the kids in the morning and not being flat out exhausted when I'm up "late" at work.

And all this without caffeine. :rotfl2:

I hope your dad continued to improve! Here's to the time going quick for you and you can visit him.

And we turned the page on the frog-chatter.

Time to get back to sprinkles on toast.....

Specifically.....

I don't know if you have the same thing in the US; but over here in Oz, Fairy Bread is very popular at kids parties. Fairy bread is sprinkles (or 100's and 1000's) on white bread.
