But, next Thursday, I'm off to Florida to visit my dad!! DS14 and DS12 are coming with me, too. Looking forward to that.

Labor Day here in the States. Sadly it "officially" marks the end of summer. Schools are back in, and it's only a matter of time before the weather turns brisk.

And... when I walked out of my house this morning early... I was hit by a fog!!... it was so flipping humid my glasses fogged... I almost thought I was in

Ah football season! We live down the street from the local high school and don't need to walk down to the game to hear the play by play. But we usually do anyway. My poor cats know it's football season and hide when they hear me screaming at the TV. DH just rolls his eyes and reminds me that the players and coaches on the TV can't hear me. Then why do they usually do what I tell them to do?

There's no escape for the hayfever.. no matter where you are...

kimmar... having fun yet? It's not supposed to be as hot next week... our district let the middle schools out early the last few days from the heat. I remember as a kid sitting in the classrooms with no air conditioning.. I also remember cars with no AC... our kids are spoiled..

Oh.. hey.. I just got a new car...!!! well.. not really new... but it's a convertible.... Love it.. and with the top down.. and drive 40 MPH.. you get enough air cond... LOL.. and maybe a suntan at the same time..
