Longest. Week. EVER.

Because it was the week before vacation. So naturally it took its sweet flippin' time. Ah well, can't complain too much I guess, since I did get to leave an hour and a half early today!! Already got my food shopping done. Weekend is mine! Woop woop!!

I keep getting these offers from Disney to try out a new fast pass dining method for Be Our Guest lunch service for my trip next week. Except each time I try to book, it says there are no times available. Then stop sending me the offers! It looks very interesting. Here's the wording from the site: Enhance your experience by ordering ahead by selecting FastPass+ Direct to Table or simply choose FastPass+ Expedited Arrival.

The direct to table appears to be where you order ahead of time and your food will be waiting while the expedited arrival is just a regular reserved seating. For now, BOG is the only QS place trying this. But I can see this expanding.

While I love me some Disney to be sure, I'm not enamored with all the changes going on. It seems like they want you to schedule just about everything ahead of time, which for someone like me absolutely kills the spontaneity of a vacation.

As a non-planner myself, I agree somewhat. But I have liked being able to get a FP on the drive up or as I walk in the park rather than doing the mad dash when we get there. I actually will get to ride TSM next week for the first time in awhile because I'm never there early enough to grab one at the park.

Two days!!......TWO!!......

TWO!!!

As a bonus, I have a late start to work today (by an hour) so it'll be an abbreviated work day!!! Getting hard to concentrate on anything but the trip.

My packing is 99% done, will just throw in the last-minute stuff on departure morning like toothbrush and hairbrush, etc..
