Woo hoo! I just got a fast pass for the new mine train ride for my June trip. Since it's not officially open when I go the weekend after next, I will just have to brave the line. There are no FP's for May. Though I'm keeping an eye out for pass holder previews.

The soft openings when the new Fantasyland opened was hit and miss. We would check through the day and see if it was open. Sometimes it was just for certain guests (pass holders who signed up early, teachers, CM's) and others it was timing. So try. You may get in. I plan to.

How do I nicely tell my dad to stop inviting me to Mother's Day events since my mom is no longer alive, my grandmother is great but not my mother, and I don't think of his evil wife as a mother in any way, shape, or form? I figured saying I had plans with my MIL would work but then he asked again to see if I could meet them after. I said I was also a mom and planned to spend the day doing something for myself. Ugh! Family.
