Thank you everyone. His house is done except for last minute vacuum right before people come tomorrow. My next big project will be pictures. Finally had time to get the ferrets out and clean their cage. They were itching to come out and play.

Morning everyone.

GOOD morning!!!!!!! And it IS a good morning here in our home. I don't want to get into any details, but I will just give you guys the recap that my oldest son was arrested a week ago Wed. night; the charge was burglary. He came home last night and is a changed young man. He knows he still has a long road ahead of him (he had his Probable Cause hearing yesterday but the trial is yet to come). It was truly the most hellish week of my life, watching him be taken from his home, knowing where he was going (despite being in our little rural state, it is ranked as one of THE worst jails in the entire country..... ). I hate to sound cliche but the sun has never dawned brighter than it did today.

A week ago I was debating even still going on my trip, but in the end my DH and I decided that a) staying home didn't help anyone, and b) the change of scenery with my two best friends would be good medicine. Of course now I'm just more excited than EVER!!!!! I'm going to find something extra-special to bring home for the boys, and I'm hoping, when this is all over, that we can take a trip there again as a family. It'll be a great celebration!

No, I meant my ferrets and my daughter's ferrets. We each have 2. My brother had Max the golden and 2 cats.

LM- so sorry you went through that. I think a Disney trip is definitely needed for your sanity.
