BA Sale - Now on & Virgin too!

I am watching flight prices for next May and today the PE flights on BA have dropped £150 pp so might be a start of a sale in anyone is interested!

EDIT - Virgin also have sale for flights up to March 2011 as always shorter than BA's dates!

Def a sale! Not the best prices I've ever seen but certainly a decent one. £419 for economy is pretty good but £1885 for CW not so good. From what I can see various sale dates until June 2011. Hope someone snags a bargain.

We were really impressed with BA when we flew with them this month. Very nice crew and the entertainment system was much better than Virgin's. Go go, go bargain hunters!! ,

I wiped them off my list a decade ago, but after reading a few reports like yours and looking at VA prices, if they have a good offer I will give them a try again.

Thats really an incredible sale kicking BA's butt on price for those dates.

Premium at £838 various dates is around average for PE sale fares.

Same again with economy at £420 pretty average.

Just can't believe those Upper prices. Hopefully someones dates will fit, pretty gutted ours don't although on the other hand having already booked our April flights I'm glad this sale does not include our dates lol.

Thanks so much for posting about the sale. Booked last night and saved us £200 with ba, compared to virgin's prices last week. Plus not been too impressed with virgin last few times, so even better. Just got to hope they don't strike now! Not a bank holiday so should be safe.

Even if BA do hold another strike (which is extremley unlikey) LGW will not be affected at all. I flew during the last strike and LGW was business as usual, the LGW crew have different contract's that they are happy with. So no need to worry at all. I feel the same way about Virgin and I was recently very impressed with BA. I'm just happy to go with whoever is cheaper of the two now.

Yeh very good point about the strike action i forgot about that with LGW,

We've flown with BA to JFK NY a couple of times and they were superb with no problems at all !!

I have already booked for next year but it looks like our dates are not covered by this sale anyway. And the price has gone up
