We've done quite a few B2B cruises on various DCL ships but always out of Port Canaveral. Just wondering if anyone has done one recently on the Dream out of Fort Lauderdale and what was the experience like . Oh we also have the same stateroom for both cruises. Thanks in advance.

If you search Back to Back Disney Port Everglades on YouTube you can find a recent one. The creator is concierge on the Magic, but it appeared to be the same process for everyone because the concierge lounge was not open in the terminal.

We did B2B on the Magic at PE at the beginning of August. We stayed on board until about 9:30/10 - they took us out through Customs - we did a face scan. Then we went and sat in the large seating area for about an hour. Eventually, we got called over to the interior set of desks to be checked in. Then, we sat down again. Sometime around 11:15/11:30 they came to get us and escorted us back on the ship (and we had about 30 minutes to ourselves on the ship). Enough time to go get drinks from Cove and go back to our room to wait for lunch.

We did B2Bs on the Dream in April. We had to meet at Evolution between 9:30-9:45. We were checked in and sat there for a bit. We were then walked off as a group through customs, using the face scanners. There were probably about 40 of us, maybe. We sat in the terminal and were told we would board at "exactly 11:30". We did need to check in there before that though, and then we sat until 11:30 when they told us we could board. I didn't mind that down time as my son had gotten married on the first cruise so I used that time going through pictures and getting/sending pictures from/to family...stuff we didn't have time to do while on the first cruise with everyone. Upon boarding, DH and I sat by the Cove pool (primo chair spot) before lunch, then continued relaxing there with a cocktail after lunch.
