The B resort has a 4 star rating and cost less then the Hilton which is close to Disney Springs. The Hilton is less than a 10 minute walk to DS using the walkway over the roads.

So now how close is the B-resort to the walkway over the roads to Disney Springs?

Thank you !

Stayed at both. I would say the B Resort is about a 5 minute longer walk to the pedestrian bridge than Hilton.

Love B Resort and wouldn't hesitate to stay. Hilton is in need of a renovation (or be sold to someone willing).

The sidewalks along Hotel Plaza Blvd (where the B Resort and Spa is located) are separated from the road by landscaping. It's a fairly pleasant walk. Here's an example of the sidewalk and road, courtesy Google Maps:

So the B resort may be better than the Hilton - thank you for the advice !

I can't comment on the B Resort and Spa, as I haven't stayed there since it became that name. I do know that my friend HopperFan does recommend it. I think we both consider the DoubleTree Suites to be the best of the seven Disney Springs Hotels. I'd consider the Holiday Inn Orlando Disney Springs to be my second favorite. But, as I've said, I haven't stayed at the B.

The Hilton Lake Buena Vista is in need of a renovation. Aside from that, I've had some significant service issues when I've stayed with them over the past 3-4 years. I've easily spent 60 nights there over that time frame. I've never once had a perfect stay. In some cases, the problems I've experienced have been significant. For example, I've been woken by groundskeepers using leaf blowers before 7am twice. I also had a broken toilet that took 3 calls and over an hour to get fixed. On multiple occasions, I've had housekeeping ignore the "Do Not Disturb" sign on my door.

At this point, the only time I stay there is when it is dirt cheap. By that I mean less than $110 including the $30 resort fee (plus tax). If the B Resort and Spa is priced similarly, I would it over either the Hilton Lake Buena Vista or the Hilton Buena Vista Palace.

We do not need a suite - only 2 of us - DH & DW
So we did not look at Double Tree Suites
I will look at the other hotels on DS hotel road :)

Many of my trips are solo and I still stay at the DoubleTree Suites. I wouldn't remove them from your search just because they have larger than average rooms.

YES, all of the above.

I also gladly will take Doubletree even though it is normally just 2 or 3 of us. I really enjoy having a sofa to relax and watch tv .... just try to avoid the bed sitting when I can. I enjoy a living space and sleeping space. Having the extra space is never a problem for me ... I even book condos with full kitchens even though I rarely cook there because I can get a nice space for less.

Only three of us but spring break we are staying at the Embassy Suites LBVS, again living space and sleeping space.
