We are leaving straight from our ship back to the WL. How long do you think we should plan (we are using disney transportation and have main dining seating). Thanks!

The drive itself takes about an hour.

You will get off the ship, go to the terminal area and claim your luggage. (Porter optional). Go thru Customs, and wheel luggage to the DCL CM who will direct you to a bus based on your destination. WDW bus may go to as many as 3 resorts--they do try not to send them to more than that. Bus will leave as soon as reasonably full--waiting not more than about 15 minutes.

SO...10 minutes to get luggage, go thru Customs, get to bus. 0-15 minutes till bus departure. 1 hour to drive. Now...if you are the first resort he stops at, you're there. If you are the third, you will get to drive around WDW for 30 minutes.

It takes us about an hour depending on traffic to drive from WDW to port or back. This is using cruise control no more than 5 above the posted speed limit.

Everyone is suppose to be off the ship by 9:30. Generally the only time you will get hung up is if there is a problem with customs.

Actually, everyone is supposed to be off the ship by 9:00. You should be at the resort easily by 11:30. If your room is ready, you will be allowed access to it at that time. If it is not ready, you can check in and they will give you a card with a number to call later that day--it will tell you what your room number is. When you return, you'll find your held luggage waiting in the room.

Wonderful! I just wanted to get a "drop dead" time of sorts so I can plan the rest of our day at the MK. We fly out tonight!!!!
