ok i'm planning my 13th birthday party and i have no idea what to do
i want it to be fun

do a theme! and everything you eat, do, and gift bags be that theme.

Maybe a movie themed party? You and your friends can dress up and watch movies all night.

A luau is always a favorite.

My friend did a 50's theme for her Sweet 16, it was a lot of fun.

A game night is fun too! Tell your friends to bring their favorite board games and/or video games and play them all day/night.

The best bet is to pick some things you love and choose a theme that way. Have fun!!

im planning my 13th birthday too. my friends adn i are going to this big mall to do a day long shopping spree. im excited. were going to buy school clothes and candy and stuff to do later on that night during the sleepover. but i guess wat im doing would only be good if you were having a few friends. if you are planning to do a big party with lots of people going to the beach has worked great for me. but you have to watch the weather. gl party plannig and have fun!

For my sixteenth birthday (I'm not having a sweet sixteen since so many kids are having it then, I'm having a sweet 18 :]) but for my birthday I'm bringing some friends to NYC to see a play and then stay over night at a hotel.
Maybe you could do something like that?

For my 18th party, which is actually a trip for my senior year, but I count it as both. My mom, is going to take me and my two BFFs to WDW if they can afford it. Neither of them have been. But they have to pay for everything but transportation. But it's gonna be a par-tay!

For one of my friend's 14th birthday a few years back, she had a game show themed party. It'll go down in history as the best birthday party I've ever been to. We played The Mole, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (Disney version!), Survivor [well, it was really a series of team "challanges" (for example, we made pizzas for dinner but we were divided into 2 teams and her mother hid the sauce, pans, dough, toppings, etc. around the kitchen and we raced to find things and make the food which was beyond fun and we've done it every year since [even if it's not her birthday!])], etc. It was a lot of fun.

My absolute favorite theme is a Hawaiian Luau. You can go to Party City and get tiki theme items, and dinnerware. Do the limbo and hand out Lais as prizes. =D

for my 13th birthday me and my best friend liz had our parties jointed at the high school, and they had a pool and sports and stuff. so her friends are sporty, so they didnt swim. but my friends did. it was awesome. we had a bunch of ppl. we were in the newspaper because me and liz, instead of getting presents, we told everyone to bring things to donate to the SOS village. It was amazing. Maybe you should do that. Just an idea
