We will be in Disneyland from April 25-May 2 and in the middle of that (29th) we will be celebrating my daughter's 6th birthday. I have already signed her up on the Disney website and plan on getting the gift card for her. We have also made reservations at Goofy's kitchen for breakfast. My question is;

What else can be do or what else is available for me to get for my daughter to make this the best birthday ever?

Its kind of an open ended question but I was looking for ideas that are unique to Disneyland (as opposed to what we could already do at home).

For my DD 7th bday last year I made a keepsake pillowcase for her to get her favorite characters to sign. I used princess clipart on line and made a tshirt transfer which I then ironed on a white pillowcase. Then when we had her bday lunch she had the princesses sign the pillowcase instead of an autograph book. When we got home we copied over the sigs with puffy paint and she now has a pretty, one of a kind, pillowcase that reminds her of her special day.

You could also play musical chairs with Alice and the Mad Hatter at 230p, arrange for a birthday bucket to be delivered at your birthday lunch (disney dining can arrange it and its about 20.00) get a birthday call from Goofy at City Hall.

This topic just came up on the girls only trip thread.

Some suggestions from Stacerita were..

Get a birthday button from city hall

Make a birthday girl sash for her to wear

Buy a little tiara for her to wear

Make her a birthday girl t shirt

Get a bear that can be written on and call it the birthday bear, collect autographs from the Characters throughout the park.

May your daughter be blessed this year and always.:wizard:

You could do the birthday party celebration at Plaza Inn. I believe it's around $15 and each person gets to decorate a little birthday cake. We did it when my dd turned 4 and she loved it. She would still love it now at age 7. Mickey and Minnie are there too and the host (Pat E. Cake) is a lot of fun.

I would also recommend the other suggestion of musical chairs with Alice and the Mad Hatter. My daughter had a ball! :goodvibes

^+1 I loved it at 35

My daughter had her 5th birthday at DL and we all had a great time. We did the birthday Party with Pat E. Cake at Plaza Inn, booked her a makeover at Libby Lu with lunch at Ariel's Grotto with the princesses, and did the Discover the Magic Tour which was the highlight of the trip for the whole family. Having a birthday at Dl is just so magical.

Also, to make her feel extra special, make sure you go thru the Mission Tortilla Factory to have her get her free birthday tortillas. Everyone in your party will receive one (fresh and warm :goodvibes ) but she'll receive a package. The amount varies-used to be a dozen, recently we've gotten, 6, 5,4, and 3.
