Ayres Hotel

So, I'm going for a weekend visit on my birthday (April 25 ) and staying at the Ayres Hotel Anaheim. I've NEVER used ART, and this will be the first time I'm staying so far from the resort. The hotel web site says ART stops right out front, but on the ART web site, I could not find the hotel listed on the route. Im panicking a little. I really don't want to give blood to park in the DLR lots. Can anyone tell me if in fact ART does go from Ayres Hotel Anaheim (it's across from The Pond-or whatever its called now LOL) to DLR? TIA!

I just checked rideart.org and there is a stop listed for your hotel. It's route 15.

We normally stay at the Ayres. We love this hotel! Marcus the manager has an amazing staff. They go out of their way to welcome you. The ART stop is right in the parking lot. It is right in front of the door and there are two benches to sit on. It is the first stop on the route to the parks so seating is never an issue. Enjoy your trip and have a great birthday!

You're welcome!! They have one of the best breakfasts and Monday-Thursday they have beer, wine, sodas and snacks in the evenings. Warm chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. It's a family owned chain. Be sure and look at the photos in the hallway on the way to the elevator showing the Ayres family helping helping to settle the LA area.

I am thinking about this hotel for our trip in August. We are flying into LAX. Do the shuttle services from LAX drop you off at the Ayres? How long is the ride on ART to the parks?

I can't speak for the LAX shuttles, although I can't imagine why they wouldn't go to this hotel. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again! The room we had was a standard king, and it was HUGE! The breakfast was included and really good. They had a grill and were making eggs-REAL EGGS not powdered, hash browns and pancakes. The ART ride was about 10 minutes.
