Just bought this groupon for $238- 3 nights at the Cypress Point Grande Villas in a 1 bedroom suite- sleeps 4, includes full kitchen and utensils, blender, toaster, etc... Its $300 something for a 2 bedroom suite that sleeps 6! Called and added my extra day fo $85+ tax. Not bad at all, averages out to be about 80 bucks a night and you get a kitchen so you can cook and save money! It expires in 6 days so you should get it before it sells out!

:-)

strongly considering. Have you been there? I was planning to try priceline but as I'm looking at the week leading to Easter it could be hard to find rooms at decent prices. Do you know if there is a resort fee or parking fee? Any idea how close/far from Universal? Off to research....

We just spent a week at Cypress Pointe Resort and enjoyed it. There are no fees. The pool is heated and it's in a nice location. You can walk to Winn-Dixie, Walgreens and several restaurants - Giorando's, Steak N Shake, Sweet Tomatoes plus Crossroads shopping center.

We have stayed here twice! Love the location, and like said above, you can walk to all kinds of dining options! Rooms are big, only ever stayed in a 2 bdrm, never stayed in the 1 bdrms so can't comment about that! Pools are open til 11, and are heated!

So after much contemplating and research I purchased the groupon deal and called this morning for reservations and I'm all booked for 4/1-4/4!! Yippee now the planning begins!

Thanks for the heads up on this deal and the positive comments. :)

This is a great price, but I have helped a friend rent a unit through a timeshare owner there this year for March Break this coming year for $415 for a 2 bdrm unit for 7 nights!

I saw this too and thought it was a pretty good deal...

Sounds like a good deal to me - too bad it exp 4/12.

I'm in the process of looking early into Christmas '12.

I don't think we will be staying onsite - moderates are pricing at over 2k for the week... Might look into a home rental or just offsite hotel.

;) good luck!

If any of you have a Discover card, you should always buy groupons through the discover cashback page and use your Discover card to purchase. You get 15% back!! I purchased this deal, and did exactly that :) Comes out to about $67 a night, net.

does cypress point has WiFi available?

last time I stayed there about 6 years ago, they didn't.

Yes, and I think it's $5 a day, or a little less per day for an entire week. Also, transportation to the parks are not free, they are $11 round trip per person. I like this better than charging a resort fee for everyone.
