I did Step 2 tonight. I had pre-ordered Tinkerbell for $10. Making Tinkerbell $20, then pre-ordered Beauty and the Beast taking $10 off Tinkerbell, making Tinkerbell now $10. Then used my $10 Tinkerbell coupon making Tinkerbell nothing. Paid $5 + tax to pre-order Beauty and the Beast and got $10 Gift card back.

Should get a free watch too with the movie. I didn't get one though.

So if we include the gift card, I have spent $5 so far...because the $10 gift card breaks even with the $10 pre-order.

I hope more people had a chance to pre-order Tinkerbell.

This whole process really confused my TRU. I ended up having to argue with one of the sales people about the price, which always makes me feel like a witch. (Even when I know I'm right. ) Hopefully I won't have a problem when I go back to get BatB and preorder TS3.

What is TRU?

My guess from the link it is Toys are Us? I have no children, so TRU is not something that trips off my tongue.

My closest store is 25 miles away. The gas would probably negate savings. Looks like you have to make deposits and return later to get the movie. So you have to go to the store at least four times? I'll bet they figure you will buy something else "as long as you are there."

I have pre-ordered the Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story for the library through Amazon. Love spending "other people's money"!

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue - I am suspicious of direct to DVD movies. Are these Tinkerbelle movies any good?

With the deposit, DMR coupon and the BATB offer, it rang up as $10.00 plus $1.35 tax. Should have been $5.00 plus $2.69 tax. The Asst Manager argued that $11.35 was what everyone was paying. I stood my ground and she knocked off $5.

So for $16.35 I have the Tink movie, a $10 gift card and 5 toward BATB!

Sorry this was happening to you guys. My price was right $5 plus tax, but they couldn't figure out how to give me my $10 gift card. I figured out too, that I will end up spending around $30 for all 3 movies since they will be $30 a piece. But not bad since I would have paid $60 for Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story 3.

Karen- I think you can still get a decent deal, if you pre-order Beauty and the Beast for $5, then when you pick up Beauty and the Beast pre-order Toy Story 3. Making Beauty and the Beast now $15. $5 Pre-Order and $10 off for pre-ordering TS3. And use a $10 off internet printable coupon from disney movie rewards. Making your price now $5 and pre order TS3 $5. So you will pay $10 for Beauty and The Beast, and TS3 (if a $10 internet printable coupon gets realized which it should), you will pay $15 after coupon and pre-order. So you will pay $25 total for Beauty and the Beast and TS3 Blu-Ray combo packs.

I also had trouble with $10 off for buying BATB.

The top of the coupon in big letters it says:

"Pre-order your copy...and save 10 when you buy any Disney Blu-Ray $9.99 or higher today"

But at the bottom in small print it says:

"Cashier: Scan this coupon when customer pays balance due, picks up reserved movie as per normal procedures, and purchases another Disney Blu-ray $19.99 or higher."

-10.00 discount w/ TS3 preorder
=$-2.01 what happens then??
Will they really apply that toward the TS3 deposit and make it $2.99?? And I still haven't used the gift card?
