Avon Sends Care Packages To Soldiers

I also just found out there are "extras" in the package that have
been donated to Avon for these packages by outside companies.

What items are included in the packages? Each package is $10.00 and $4.00 of the 10 goes directly to the USO for groups and things. Avon sends the packages and postcards get include dircetly in the box..

This Avon package includes 5 items the troops have requested most -
Skin-So-Soft Bug Guard Plus, Skin-So-Soft Shower Gel, On Duty 24 Roll
on Deoderant, Moisture Therapy Hand Cream and a Moisture Therapy Lip
Balm. The balance of the care package may include items such as
handy-wipes, 100-minute prepaid international phone cards, playing
cards, travel size toiletries, nonperishable snacks, and varying
items donated by others.

Who decides where the packages will go?

The Armed Forces tell the USO where the packages are needed. Requests
are received from troops deployed around the world and the USO works
hard to fulfill each request.

I sent the Avon bug guard to my DH last year when he was deployed and he said it worked the best of all, granted it didn't protect him from getting leischmenisis (sand fly disease).
