Don't wander off by yourself - stay with your group.
Pay attention to where your group of friends go at the resort.
If you do get lost from your group text one of them and ask where they are.

The resorts have paper maps they usually give guests at check-in. They now prefer guests using online check-in but you can still swing by the lobby and request a map.

Some of the resorts are sprawling with wind-y walkways and lots of trees. Definitely helps getting an idea of the layout and points of interest. Makes a good souvenir too.

If everyone has cellphones you could just text your friends and arrange a meeting place if you get lost. I don’t recommend calling because of all of the noise.
