Avis and USA code, gone?

I just tried checking a rate with AVIS with the USA code and it no longer seems to work. I wonder if they read these boards. It comes back with this message now...

The rate code you entered can not be applied to this rental. Please remove it and try again.
Rate Code entered is invalid
