Hi,
Rented a car with Avis directly. I am a 'preferred' member - forgive me for not remembering what they call it - so many - I only remember National's Emerald.
I am landing several hours before my DH and picking up the car that is rented to me. I am picking him up later that evening at MCO.
Can we go back to the counter and add him on when he gets there? I don't want to be the only driver.
Called Avis today - they said it was fine as long as he went to the counter with his DL.
We are both + 25 (x 2); have insurance; U.S. residents; no accidents - in other words, everything is in order except the separate arrival times.
As anyone done this? I have way more faith in the boards than a telephone conversation with the rental company.
