AVG free anti-virus

the free time on my avg is about to expire. I read something on here about somebody saying there was another way to sign up for it for free again. Any tips?

Maybe this site could help you http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 . I had an e-mail many months ago saying my free AVG would expire in January. I never did anything and it is still updating and running fine. According to the website, the 7.5 edition is the latest thing, and that is the edition I have. I don't remember updating it. Could it update itself ?

I thought I was fine too but doday when I turned my pc on I got a warning saying it would expire today. I'm wondering if I should update at this free site or not.

Go to their website, and just read carefully. They'll try to sell you an upgrade that costs money, but there is still a free version available. Just make sure you choose the right one, and update away!

I've been getting that warning too. It's just so you can download the LATEST versions. 7.5. It also has a spyware detector. That's free also.
