Avatar Land or Star Wars Land if you could choose

Let's put it this way: I've seen Avatar, I've never seen Star Wars, and I'm rooting for Star Wars.

As for which one makes better sense from Disney's perspective? I have a fun little quiz I like to give people to get a feel for the cultural impact a brand has made...

Name three characters from:

Harry Potter
Star Wars
Avatar

Guess which one gets the blank stares.

Personally, I have no preference.

From a financial perspective, Star Wars would make them more money over a longer term. Unless the next 3 Avatar films are a lot better than the first one was, the storyline and world simply aren't as engaging as Star Wars. I don't see any little boys running around in blue costumes, but I do see plenty of them wanting to be Jedi.

Unfortunately, at the time they made the Avatar deal, I don't think they had any idea that they were actually going to get Star Wars. Lucas surprised the world when he decided to give up control. If the Star Wars deal had gone through first, we'd probably be seeing ground broken on that.

Excellent points

Star Wars Land. :thumbsup2 Here in Florida at the studios. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 It could stand up to Harry Potter and then some.

Avatar doesn't stir any excitement for me. It just doesn't. One thing that speaks positively for it. The Imaginears can do some pretty incredible stuff.

Star Wars of course, but I'm looking forward to both , think its stupid that disney is building avatar first though
