Available BLT UY

Does anyone know what UY is available at BLT? I'm going to add on in Feb and currently have a Dec UY at AKV. I want to use the BLT points end of Nov 09 and beginning of Dec 09, so I would need a UY before Dec, right? I don't really like the idea of more than one UY, but if it's only a month or two that shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

If you are adding on less than 200 points (min goes up Jan 15 2009) then you will have to add to your current Dec UY.
The only way to get a different UY is to buy a new membership or buy resale. If you buy less than the min, you get the UY you already have.

You could borrow enough points for your end of Nov 09 stay and then use your allotment to cover the rest of your stay that falls in Dec. You get your points on Dec 1.

ETA: You may not be able to borrow since BLT does not have 08 UY. I would speak with my guide, as they should be able to help you with your first reservation as part of the sale.

Use Year has nothing to do with when you can make a reservation or travel - you can always reserve 11 months ahead at your Home Resort provifing you will have enough points available for that reservation (via banked/borrowed/current points).

Unless you are purchasing 200 or more points, you will have the same Use Year as your current contract - apparently that is December - so you won;t have any other options. If you add-on before January 15, you may purchase less than 100 points. If you buy a new contract with the Use Year of your choice before January 15, you may purchase 160 points. If you wait until after January 15, 2009 your options will be to buy an add-on (same Use Year) of 100 points or more or a new contract of 200 points or more.

For a trip in November, you would be able to borrow points from your December, 2009 Use Year and then use current points from the 2009 Use Year for dates beginning with December 1, 2009. You could also borrow points from your December, 2010 Use Year for dates between December 1, 2009 and November 30, 2010.

That was my original suggestion, but how would that work if there are no 2008 UY's for BLT?

I guess I'm not clear what you are asking. You could not borrow points from the 2008 Use Year for a trip in the 2009 Use Year for any resort. There would be no 2008 BLT points to bank, but borrowing wouldn't be possible at any resort.

If there were December, 2008 points at BLT they still could not be borrowed for any trip before the resort opens. At any resort, points from December, 2008 could only be borrwed for a stay between December 1, 2007 and November 30, 2008.
