Am I wrong to assume that crowds may not be so bad as mid summer seeing as there are 13 resorts with good availability still as of today?

the ones with availability are - Swan - Dolphin - Fort Wilderness - Polynesian - Grand Floridian - Animal Kingdom - Wilderness lodge - Old Key west - all 3 of the all star resorts - coronado srpings - villas at wilderness lodge -

any thoughts...? maybe I got lucky?

My guess is that many children are not out of school by then so the crowds will be bigger later.

Hey nataliesdaddy - going about the same time. We are at the Hard Rock Hotel June 7-10 and onto Disney from June 10-17. I am hoping that the crowds aren't too bad!!! One funny thing I have to say about your thread. We were staying at POR - Riverside but had to move to CBR. Now we have stayed at CBR before and really like it. No complaints! But when we were contacted to move and offered an upgrade, everything was FULL and we were only offered a couple of things. I think it is funny that I could probably call now and get a different story. Oh well onto a great vacation!! You enjoy yours and I hope the weather cooperates!!!

Nataliesdaddy, I see that our countdown clocks are just about the same. May we both have safe, happy trips! I think I'll call about a possible upgrade based on what you report.

Nataliesdaddy: We'll beat you there by a day and are also hoping for light or moderate crowds. I've seen in previous posts that this week traditionally isn't that crowded but that the crowds tend to build more the next week. Weekends, of course, are another story.

Meagansmom: We are displaced from POFQ and had the opposite experience with relocation. We were offered a wide selection of resort upgrade options. Basically all the deluxe resorts were available.

Due to some last minute changes in plans we had to add one more day to the beginning of our stay ( terrible news, right??;) ). I called last Saturday and not only was there plenty of availability, there was availability using AP rates!

I checked for the YC, BC, OKW, AllStars and CSR. They all had rooms available with an AP discount. The only resorts that were booked were ASMO and CBR.

I also waited until yesterday to book a couple of tours and make some ps. Everything I wanted was available and for the exact times I needed.

It's sad to see business so slow, but on the positive side, at least it doesn't appear that it's going to be terribly crowded.

Well you guys have a wonderful time! We only have 9 days! We will be at the HRH for June 10 and then RPR for June 11-12. The on to the Magic on June 13-15 CBR and ASSp June 16-19. Maybe we'll bump to each other there!

I know how you guys feel....EXCITED!!
:Pinkbounc Cause I know we are!!

Let's just hope that it won't be too crowded...but most of all let's hope for a nice bright sunny day. And most importantly to have a fun safe trip!

We're renting DVC points, but I know when my friend called last week, there was plenty of availability. Here's hoping for light crowds so the crappy hours won't be as big an issue!
