availability for April 1-8

We have a pending resell contract that won't be able to close until January 2017. If we wanted to make a trip the first week of April, is there much chance of any availability in that short window? Ideally, we would like to stay at our home resort for our first trip (Beach Club) but I'm sure that's unlikely.

Are you looking for a studio, or something larger? Based on your timeline, you'll probably only have two months to book, so SSR will likely be the only thing available.

One thing you could do.....rent the points to make your reservation at beach club. Then when you close on your contract rent out those points to offset the expense.

That is likely to cost you 2.50 - 3.00 per point. Based on how many points the reservation would be, you could decide if it is worth the added expense, and effort to secure BC through rental.
