Is there a list anywhere of the characters that appear at DL, and whether or not they can sign an autograph? I'm making some pages for my 4 children to take, and would like to make sure I have everything covered. Thanks in advance!

I've seen a very long list of characters, and where they typically are seen; unfortunately I don't remember where I saw it, so maybe someone else can point you to that.

I thought I'd read that Pluto couldn't sign autographs (because he's a dog!), but we did indeed get his autograph. We also got Tinkerbell's, but that one required a little more effort on my part. (Long story, but DS6 lost his first tooth, and with the help of the DLH staff, Tinkerbell was his tooth fairy!)

I can't think of one character that our girls have asked for an autograph that said no. Each time we've taken them to DL they've gotten scads of them. There has always been a CM in each area of both parks that was able to tell us where a given character was or would be when we've asked. :thumbsup2

Mostly I'm just wondering if they are ABLE to sign. I know that the Beast can't hold a pen. I'm wondering if there are others that can't.

When we met Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, she signed for both of them, I suppose that his costume makes it more difficult to sign. I noticed on many of the characters, I was thinking, "No way, how are they going to manage?" but they did, and they were very recognizable, I was so impressed!

So does no one have the Beast's autograph? Or do they handle it some other way? I read about someone else whose daughter really wanted Tinkerbell's autograph, so the mom asked a CM. The CM said if she could wait a minute, they would take the autograph book 'backstage' to Tinkerbell and have her sign it. And it came back with a teeny tiny signature in it, so cute! I wonder if that's how they could handle some of the characters that can't hold a pen? But because it's more of a hassle, maybe they only do it upon request.

Our Tinkerbell signature experience was similar, the CM I spoke with went somewhere out of sight, and when she returned some time later, she had Tink's note and signature for my DS, as well as several other goodies for him. I suppose she could have done it all right in front of me, neither DS nor any other children were around, but she didn't. LOVED IT!

I could send you MY autograph, but it wouldn't be worth the paper it's written on. :lmao:

I know King Louie can't sign autographs, because, ummm, his arms are much longer than a human's arms, if you know what I mean. ;)

Yes, Cast members have a guide with all the characters where. I have an outdated one, i will let you know tomorrow when i work today :)

The only characters we have seen that couldn't sign were Sully from Monsters Inc and the penguin who walks around with Mary Poppins.

All I know is that Sulley can't sign, King Louie can't sign, Beast can't sign, and it is impossible to get autographs from Jack Sparrow and Indiana Jones.

We didn't see any of the others (except Sulley in a parade), but we did get Capt. Jack's autograph!

Hi,
Last year when I was creating digital pages for the kids for autographs, I stumbled on this page:

http://dlandfriends.com/guide/

which was super helpful!

It shows photos, tells you where you can typically find them, who is rare, who is easy to find, etc.

I know for us, Sulley couldn't sign an autograph, the Penguin with Mary and Bert, and the bears from Brother Bear could not either.

That's incredible Alex!-- wait. Are you counting those little scrolls he hands out to kids? Cuz I got one and it's not real- it's printed.

Do you mean Capt. Jack? He didn't give DS6 a scroll, so I don't know what that is. Instead of an autograph book we carried 4x6 slips of colored scrapbook paper with us. He signed one of them.

What does the scroll have on it?

i did not think Mike from Monsters could sign either. Buzz does not sign but he does stamp.

We saw Buzz in Tomorrowland in June and he signed both of my kids' autograph books. No stamp, he did the signature.

We also got Buzz's autograph. He's got these enormous gloves, so it must be difficult, and I notice the signature is a little rough - He just writes "Buzz" and a circle with a ring around it (a planet.) Cute!
