Autographs worth carrying a bigger bag?

My mom and I are going in Sept for an adult trip and have matching ruffle fanny packs. We also have bigger Disney bags that I made. It would be nice to just use the fanny packs but I would also like to get autographs. They also help break the ice with the characters. So I'm wondering if it would be worth taking the bigger bags just for autographs. I planned on making a banner with them as a gift for my kids.

This might not work with your plans of making a special banner and making them gifts for your children, but on Pinterest, I found and pinned the idea of taking a small wire bound book of notecards for the characters to sign, then, when you return home, taking the notecards out and putting them in a photo album/scrapbook next to your picture with the character. That way, you only have to carry a small item in your bag instead of the big autograph book, freeing you from taking a larger bag into the parks, but you still have the medium to create a special memory book after the trip.

Maybe something like that will work as a compromise??

Thanks! That just might work. I could take some note cards and glue them on the banner when I get home.
