Well, I've printed all of my cards. I think I have WAY too many, but they are so darn CUTE! Anyway, I am planning on putting them all together and having them spiral bound before I go on my trip. Here is the question: How do you order them. I'm looking for suggestions. Alphabetical? By Movie? By theme such as princess, super hero, vilian. I'm at a lose. I don't know what the best way to do this is. Please give me your opinion.

I would definitely order them alphabetically. I had 238 that I took and it was so easy to look them up by their name rather than trying to remember what movie they were in or if they are a villian or search for all the dwarfs in cinderella. It is so much easier to find Dopey then to have to think he is in cinderella or he is with the dwarfs.

Alphabetically is DEFINITELY the way to go!!!

Thanks. Did you see the dwarfs? I didn't print them because I've never seen them. Where did you see them? Oh boy...now I have to print more. I'm so addicted!

i agree, alphabetically. if you want the listing of what characters are normally seen in Disney World I can send it to you. it is somewhat outdated (1 1/2 years old) but it has hyperlinks that are current.

I didn't run across any dwarfs...Dopey is easier than the rest (I've heard...but most only show up at special events like the halloween party)...I was there three days and got 41 autographs but I didn't spend the entire time autograph hunting and it was during a week when school was still in so the lines weren't very long to get autographs.

Here is a "how to find characters" and a list of characters by alphabet that I put at the front of my book so that I knew who was in my book and how easy they were to find...I also have a reference for where to find the characters in word... If you want it send me your email and I will email it to you.

How to Find the Characters

Sometimes finding a favorite character can be difficult. One day you may see a bunch of characters in one spot, and the next day - not one! Some characters may be everywhere on one trip, and nowhere the next. And some characters come out only for 10 minute meets, then don't return for hours.

Step 1: You can find the most characters in one spot throughout the day at The Judge’s Tent in Magic Kingdom. Try to go within the first hour or the last hour of the park’s operating hours to avoid the lines that can range anywhere from 45 to 120 minutes at the height of the afternoon crowds.

Step 2: Pick up a park map that has the character greeting locations marked with an icon of a Mickey hand. This will tell you where and when the characters will be available so you can arrive early and be near the front of the line to avoid wait times.

Step 3: Ask where characters will be at Guest Relations at a Disney World park or resort (sometimes they can tell you where a character is meeting people that day).

Step 4: Wander around and constantly look everywhere you go! Be on the lookout for characters just coming out of behind the scenes. You can often catch them before they are mobbed at their designated area, if you have your camera ready for a quick picture. A good place to catch them on the fly like this is at the Town Square Exposition Hall near the entrance to Magic Kingdom.

Step 5: Look at websites like http://home.att.net/~disneysue/characters/wdw/disneylinks.html to find where other autograph seekers have located your favorite characters.

Step 6: Open your book to the blank page and be ready with pen-in-hand. Often the characters have trouble gripping the books and pens, so if you have them already open and the pens uncapped it makes it easier for them. Certain characters such as Buzz Lightyear will have a stamp to stamp the autograph book with, as their costume doesn’t allow them to grip a pen.

Step 7: Make sure you use caution when approaching the characters; they often won’t see you if you come at the character from a bad angle.

Good Luck Character Hunting!!

I have decided that rather than do my taxes, I am updating the guide I did a couple of years ago. Does anyone know if Giselle sings autographs? Has anyone seen her in the parks lately? thanks, Penny:hippie:

I guess Giselle was only at the 2007 Christmas parade. I have heard rumors that it is too expensive because Amy Adams has a license/contract? for using her image. We were disappointed--this is one of dds favorites!

JT&Dolly - do you mind if I add your tips to the bottom of my character listing? I had copied/pasted them before & when I came back just now realized where they came from. I gave you credit as JT&Dolly :goodvibes It seemed like a nice ending to a 22 page document of love. :lovestruc:hippie: Penny:flower3:
