There is only one type of autograph book sold at Disney World.
We make our own and this is how...
This year we bought a photo album (4x6) at Wal-Mart. I think they were about $4.84 or so each. They are striped in bright colors. It has a 3 ring type binder in it.
We purchased stickers at Wal-Mart to decorate the outside of the album. They have Mickey and Friends stickers that are wearing beachwear which perfectly coordinates with the stripes on the album.
I then popped open the 3 ring binder portion and took the sheets of paper out of the sleeves. I took 10 out of each. I left the remainder of the papers in the sleeves for now.
Next I put the papers in FRONT of all the sleeves. The kids will have the characters autograph the pages. While waiting in line, waiting for the kids to finish eating, etc. I will put the signed pages in the sleeves and take more blank pages out.
When we come home... I will make a front page for their autograph book and put the first signed page in a sleeve. On the facing page I will put a picture of the kids with that character.
This way the kids can identify the character's signature by picture.
We did this last trip and it worked GREAT. Our autograph/photo albums are in great shape. The kids love looking at them and the sleeves really protect the pages from messy fingers and tearing.
One more perk ~ friends who look at the albums that aren't Disney nuts seem to get the 'autograph experience' more when they associate a name with a face.
If you have a Meijer store near you, they stock some 4x6 albums with the 3 rings also. They have Pooh, Mickey and Minnie. In 2002 the
Disney store had princess ones, however this year they don't stock any photo albums.

I wish they did, we bought the princess ones last trip and the girls loved them. This time they were thrilled with decorating their own.
