Where do you get autograph books for kids to get characters to sign? Or what type of book or folder do you use? Any tips would be helpful my son will be 4 1/2 this trip and I think he will get a kick out of it!
Thanks

You can purchase them at any gift shop.

This year we're going to buy the ones with the photo slot next to each autograph page. I really like that idea, they didn't have these years ago when my son got his first book.

He keeps reusing his first book. We just fold down a page and write the trip dates.

The new books with the photo pages are larger than the regular books. They come with Saucerer Mickey, Pirates or Princesses.

I LOVE the autograph/photo books that Disney sells. Our oldest DD has been to WDW twice. We have these books from both trips and she LOVES looking
back at the autographs and pictures. It is a great keepsake! I think they sell for around $10.

We bought ours on ebay. They are quite nice and were pretty inexpensive. We got 4 of them plus s/h for just over $20.

Last nyear I found cute books for the autographs at Doolar General ,they had lots of different Disney designs! This time I already have 2 POTC books I found at Dollar Tree.

I bought a 5X7 notebook at Target that was on clearance for 57cents. Then I bought these 3-D Snow White fabric stickers and stuck them on the front. Then I just wrote Anna's Autographs on the front of it. I think it turned out pretty darn cute!! I didn't want to spend the money on an expensive one because I am not really sure how my daughter will react to the characters. Sometimes she can get scared of really silly things. She must take after me though, because I am still a little uneasy around clowns!! This is our first trip so we will see how well it works?!?!

I bought my kids cheap baseball caps at the dollar store or AC MOORE, I can't remember which. We got plain white, but they had other colors ,too. I had the characters sign the hat with sharpies (we brought a couple of different colors). The kids wore them all week and we got lots of compliments on them. A bonus for me was that it got the kids to wear a hat in the hot sun, which they normally would give me a hard time about. And, we didn't have to dig around in our bag looking for the autograph book.

We purchased the photo/autograph books at Disney the last time we went and were disappointed to find that the 4x6 photos do not fit without trimming. On most of the photos there was room to trim off the outside edges but on a few it would have cut off part of the character's head or some part of the group that was in the picture. Ithat may be partially my fault as I'm not the greatest photographer in the world but had I realized it before taking the photos I would have tried a little harder to take that into account when setting up the photo)

I like the autograph hat idea for a change. You could use any number of styles of hats and would be much easier to keep up with than the autograph book - we've outgrown strollers where the book can be easily available and I don't look forward to digging through a bag to find the book at the right time.:)

We bought our son's at the Everything Pop gift shop the day that we arrived. It was less than $10. Very simple, no place for pictures, but it was perfect for him. We had a black retractable Sharpie. Worked great.

OOOO Thank you for that idea. My DD just lost hers from our last trip and we're leaving tomorrow. I told her she was responsible for keeping it safe and I wasn't buying her a new one @ the park if it got lost so now I have to stick to it. That's a great alternitive
