Good afternoon, all.

Does anyone have an idea of how much the autograph books cost at the parks? I see on disneystore.com they run close to $8.00.

Thanks!

Buy a non-disney more flexible autograph book that has some "space" between the covers. Get your autographs every other page. Use the blank facing page to paste in a picture you took during the greeting. Magic!

Or if you are feeling creative, check out some of the autograph pages available on the CreativeDISigners Board

I know you didn't ask for this, but here's my autograph book - I buy a 4x6 plastic sleeve album at Target or the dollar store. Then, buy cardstock (white usually) and cut into 4x6 pieces. I decorate one as the cover and then stick the blank pages in the album. I have the characters sign in sharpie and then put it back in the album and later slip picture of my kids with the character into it :)

It turns out to be lots cheaper than the autograph books, but I'm also a scrapbooker, so have this stuff on hand usually :)

This is my daughter's favorite book. It has one page dedicated to each characater and I am going to take it as her autograph book. I bought it on amazon for about $8. It will be fun to look through and read their article while waiting in line.
Only downside is that there aren't any Disney Jr. characters.

I usually make my own autograph books...they usually turn out to be a little more expensive but the character interaction u get is the best!

There is some fun in buying the books at the park.

For me, I wouldn't want to carry around anything much LARGER than the regular autograph books (even some of the ones WDW sells).

You can certainly make one that is easier to carry, is more custom, and/or costs less.

If you make your own 9or even if you don't), you can also use something like index cards (cardstock?), which is less to carry, then put them in a (sleeve style photo) book later.

They cost about the same, but I know 99% of characters LOVE to see/sign the homemade/creative/etsy made ones! Even if it's just a print off picture/template of their character with a space to sign, it's something new and exciting for them to sign instead of the same old autograph book.
At the end of our year in Fl, my friend & I both made photobooks off Shutterfly and had them signed and everyone LOVED them.
Just an idea ;)

I know with our homemade ones the reactions we get to them are the best! Last year when we went to the Silly Side show we saw Goofy and Donald first and Goofy made a HUGE deal of seeing his pick on the autograph book. I used an actual pic of stuntman goofy from the side show not just a pic of regular goofy, lol. Anyways Goofy ran over to Donald and basically shoved the autograph book in his face, it was so funny, lol, then when we got to Donald he did the same thing. The line was relatively short so the characters were really goofing off sort of speak LOL. My son felt so special that the characters were making such a big deal over his autograph book. I know Tigger ALWAYS makes a huge deal over our autograph books...always hopping and jumping around when he sees them.

This year I am hoping to turn the autograph books into more of a photobook/scrapbook as well so we will see how that turns out, LOL

Awwee!! That's so awesome and cute!! They definitely do love to see different things, and it's even more exciting when their picture's in their too!!

We get amazing responses on our Shutterfly autograph books! The Easter Bunny was so excited to see he had a page in our Easter book. He hopped up and down and hugged the book for quite a while. Both Woody and Goofy took the book down the entire lines of people waiting to see each of them and showed them their pages. Chip looked through every page and pointed out where to find each of his friends. And many more experiences like this. I love when they get so excited to see our books!

Same here but I like to personalize them. I have also run into problems trying to get the images copied even though it is for private use. Anyone else have that issue?

How do you guys do it on Shutterfly? Are you allowed to use pictures of Disney characters on there? I guess I assumed those were copyrighted.
