Autograph books & character ???'s

Do they sell them at the parks or better yet, do/will the characters sign them? We always do one at disney and would like to keep with tradition. Also, do any of the characters talk? How is the interaction? These are probably my first questions of many so I apologize in advance. I am an ocd type planner and US/IOA is keeping me up at night. They don't seem to need as much planning as disney and I am afraid that I am missing something. I am just trying to cover my bases. I realized this week that I don't know anyone that goes to these parks. Everyone I know are disney peeps.

Yes...Universal sells autograph books and yes...the characters will sign them. I know some of the characters talk and the interaction I've seen has been very good. They tend of spend more time with guests than at Disney and the lines aren't usually as long to meet them.
