Are the autograph books sold at Disneyland and California Adventure Park, worth the price tag? How much are they? Are there different types, its been years since I've bought one. :( :) Which one would you recommend?

I can't remember how much they are ($7.99 is in my head, but don't quote me. I want to say $10 or under). My kids have the Disneyland 60th one, and they are still using it. They have plenty of room left, however, we aren't super great about seeing characters. For example, a couple weeks ago we only met Moana. We meant to go see Mickey also, but time got away from us. So, just the one autograph all day.

Alternatively, 4 years ago when we went to WDW, I bought one for my daughter. That trip, we made it a point to see as many characters as we could, and she got lots of autographs. Even then, she still had room left in it.

So, you can probably get a couple of trips worth of autographs out of 1 book.

Also, there are several different varieties. I've never compared to see if one has more pages than another.

Uh, what does "worth it" mean in regards to an autograph book? They are books with pages for the characters to sign. If that's what you want, it's worth it. There are options with just the pages and options to put a picture next to the autograph.

Well why dish out $20 for a photo/auto book when I can save money and buy that combo book elsewhere online, is what I meant by worth it. Is it worth the money to buy those books? I have not bought one in forever.

Only you can really decide that. What is worth it to one person might not be worth it to someone else.

Ah I see. Do they have Nightmare Before Christmas autograph books for Halloween time, at the park or no?

I have never seen one. The selection is pretty limited (princesses, fairies, Minnie, and general Mickey with just paper pages with no photo slots are the ones I can think of), and I haven't seen a different version appear.

Ah alright then. Do you think buying them in the parks is cheaper, or buying them at a local 711 or CVS is cheaper or does it not matter?
