Last trip I made the kids autograph books by placing two characters signing pics per 8 1/2x11 page in a 3 ring binder. It worked ok, but it was over 80 pages so it was a little cumbersome and expensive to print. This trip, I think I would like to use the same concept, but change a few things.

First, I got on Kenny the Pirate and removed most of the long shot characters and those that do not actually sign. That took out around 10-15 characters away.

Second, I am fitting 4 characters per page, therby reducing the number of pages from 80 plus to around 30. The space for each character to sign would be about 3x4 instead of 4x6. Do you think that is enough room to sign?

Third, I broke out the character for the charcter meals(6 total) we are doing , so I will jsut take those one or two pages out of the book for meals.

Does all of this sound like it should be ok?

I have not tried cards of that size - have used 3x6 but am interested in how the smaller ones work out. Some face characters draw flourishes around their name and there might not be room for those .

. I am using the larger cards again. I am pre decorating a few for some of the main characters that I am sure to find but am taking more plain ones(to put stickers etc on later). I nearly went nuts last time trying to make sure I carried the "right" cards each day. This year it will be simpler.

When done, I slip the cards into a Disney photo album and a can place photos on same or facing Page depending.on the size album chosen.

If anyone wants tips on making the cards, just post request to this thread.

I bought a sketch book with rings. A little bigger than 4x6 pages. They are card stock type pages. You can get them at any craft store in the sketching section. They are also perforated pages at the top and then I put a characters sticker on each page. When we get home I am going to tear them out and put them in a scrapbook for my daughter. Also, the bigger sharpie markers work great for the characters that wear gloves and such.
