Does anyone make autograph books? I was going to use the pages that were posted awhile back, but they have been taken off--due to selling of the books on e-bay and not by the creator. Does anyone know where I can get pages or do any of you sell/trade them. Thanks I am trying to make my DD2 first trip as special as possible. Thanks again

I'd check over on the Creative Dis-igns board

I am definitely going to make some for our January trip. I have tons of stickers, 8x8 papers and Disney Cuttlebugs all patiently waiting!:cool1:

I made these autograph books for our June trip and they were a big hit, and a lot of fun to make!

-I started by using blank sketchbooks I found in the stationary department (at Borders) but they also have them at craft stores.

-I used a variety of scrapbooking stickers, paper, and letters (from Michael's). For the characters I couldn't find I bought Avery "Sticker Project Paper" (Officemax) and googled images of the characters. I copied them into MS Word (about 4 to a page) and printed them out.

-I tied scrapbooking ribbon to the binding, and used a glue gun to keep them in place.

-I decided a black magic marker looked the best for the autographs, keeping in mind the characters don't like sharpies. I carried it around in a large zip-loc bag to prevent it from getting wet.

Kristen,
Absolutly fabulous!! Couple of questions for you. Did you put the stickers in when you got home, or before your trip? Did the characters sign around your artwork?

Thanks! Jackie- I put all the stickers in before, and the characters pretty much just knew where to sign. The only thing I added when I got home was most of the photos.

I am lurking on this board as I want to learn to scrapbook. :cloud9: I normally "hang" at the creative disigns threads. you are welcome to use any of my autograph pages if you like. :goodvibes

I usually make my own as well, I put a bunch of paper in a bind-it-all ring and then take it apart when I get home to scrap my pages, I decorate the cover with my kids favorite character. I used to make them an entire book before I left and found that it was really hard to find all the characters I put in there, afterall, they did not want a page that was blank in there, so I went to doing it this way, and it works out better than I expected. Let me know if you want to see what I am talking about and I can upload a photo.
