We are here at Aulani now and there is lots of media here! We just watched the local ABC news weather forecaster report from one of the hotel balconies with Donald Duck just across from our DVC balcony. GMA's Sam Champion broadcast live this morning (1 AM local time)....there are stages set up all over the place, the biggest being down on the lagoon where they have been rehearsing a production all week. There are huge lighting fixtures set up on top of each building which will be used for an amazing light show tonight. From what we understand there is a firework show tonight which i can't wait for!
As DVC members were have been given a formal invitation which included special (entry) bracelets to attend the Grand Opening events from 6-10 tonight.
