Aulani??

We are going to Aulani in November and had a couple questions somebody might be able to answer for me.
1. Is there a car rental company on or near property?
2. How many Places are there to eat within walking distance and any suggestions.
3. What do drinks/beer cost at the resort and like other Disney resorts can you discreetly consume your own around the pool area?

1. The best place to rent a car is definitely at the airport based on price and to and from the airport. You can save at least two days of rental fees rather than paying for a shuttle.

2. There are a few places within walking distance but I would highly recommend Roy's which is basically across the street from Aulani. We eat there at least twice to three times a yr. It's worth the price.

3. I can answer that on Saturday!

I don't know of any car rental agency nearby. Best bet is to rent at the airport.

Not a lot within walking distance. Across the street there are two take out places (Just Tacos and a plate lunch spot). There are a couple of other resort nearby. After this, you need to drive about six miles to Kapolei for anything else.

Looking at my bar tabs from the last couple of days, specialty drinks cost $8-$13. For $13 you get a rum drink with a light-up ice cube. Wine by the glass was about $15. There's a bar near the pool. But I didn't see anyone drinking alcohol at the pool.

There is a Hertz location in the J.W. Marriott Ihilani hotel - Aulani's next door neighbor at Ko Olina. But agree that the rental car locations at the airport are likely to be cheaper.

I was checking the price of my rental car with Alamo yesterday. We are renting from the airport but when I searched on HNL it listed one of the locations as Aulani. So it seems that Alamo will have a rental car desk there at some point.
