Aulani - Which tower/rooms can one hear the music at night?

We would like to sit out on our balcony at night and listen to the Hawaiian music during our visit.
What is the best tower/highest floor/room to request before you can't hear the music or starlit hui?

To hear the music at the Olelo Room (next to Makahiki) you would need to stay in a PV or OV room in the long wing of the Ewa Tower...close to the lobby building. Not sure how high up you can hear the music though.

Starlit Hui viewing would be on the complete opposite side of the Long wing Ewa Tower...IV rooms. We stayed on the 7th floor (781 and 787) and could hear and see the Starlit Hui just fine.

This was our view from Room 1510 Waianae Tower. We were able to see and hear the band as well as enjoy amazing views of the valley, ocean and pool area.


The performers start around 5pm and set up on the far left (in the circular area)

We were in room 1656 in the Ewa building and could hear the music from the Olelo room every night. That's the top floor, almost directly over the musicians. It was great!

The places to hear the music is the lower level towers closest to Makahiki facing it. This would be floors 5-7. The trees hinder the view from 3-4. To be honest with you the best way to experience it at least once is to sit right in the front with a drink. They will not hound you to buy a drink. The breeze and ambiance is priceless. The entertainers are accomplished musicians in their field so it's worth it to do it at least once during your stay.

Thank you for your input everyone! I'm hoping to get pool view but may need to settle for Island garden view. It's nice to know one can hear the music all the way to the 16th floor!
