Aulani what excursions to book in June?

I just booked my first family DVC reservation for Aulani in june 2017 and am SO excited. I want to spend a lot of time at the resort but also want to spend sometime exploring the island. What are the best excursions to do in June? We have 3 kids who will be 15, 10, and 9.
Also, my mom is coming with us and is much older. Are there any places or excursions that are handicap accessible? She walks with her cane.

We just got back from Aulani and I would suggest you look into Oahu Private Tours as a way to get out and see the island. I looked through the tours offered through Aulani and it was pretty pricey and didn't have as many options as I wanted. Also they book through a third party so you can't use reward points to book these excursions. Oahu Private Tours is a private tour company (local guides that can take you to the best local places) that will work with you on planning a day in Oahu. The tour goes for 8 hours and is customized to your wants (beaches, shopping, sightseeing, food, etc...). They provide towels, snorkel gear, snacks and drinks. They will work with you on planning the best day. They pick you up at Aulani at 8am and drop you back off around 3-4. For a family of 4 it was only $350 and you can't find an excursion through Disney at this cost for this long.

I think it all depends on what you want to do, whether it's on land or in the water. One thing I would suggest is that you check out Groupon for the island (https://www.groupon.com/local/hawaii) Aualani is our DVC home resort, so we spend 10 days there every year. Almost all of our excursions have come through Groupon, and I have yet to have a bad experience. New things are added daily, so check back often. Many of the offers expire 90 days from date of purchase, so you're probably a little early for most of them. But keep an eye on it for things you're interested in doing.
