Aulani throw

My son had a visitor yesterday, from his time teaching English in Korea. When she spotted our Aulani throw, she was excited, as she is Hawaiian, and lived on Maui, now going to school on the mainland. So, of course we had to show our pictures with Mickey in an Aloha shirt, and my Sportsac Hawaian bag, and some other Aulani items. At one point I stopped myself, as I realized they were things, and I just wanted to say what a beautiful time we had, and to say how blessed we were to have experienced Hawaii twice.

We're from LI too and we hope to go to Aulani next September. I'm curious what airline you took and about how long a flight it was? Did you have a problem with jet lag at all?

We used points on Delta. Changed at LAX, next time we plan of a few days in California then go onto the next leg of the trip. Jet lag was not the problem, but we hate all the flying in one day. Now there is a non stop, but it doesn't save too much time.

Thanks. We're hoping to fly Hawaiian Air nonstop there and maybe stopping in California to see our son and daughter-in-law on the way home. We were worried about jet lag ruining the first couple of days there, so we thought about staying for 10 days.
