Aulani podcast follow-up call

We got the follow-up call today about the Aulani podcast. I was under the impression that the guides were the ones who were calling, so I was quite surprised that someone else called. She said she was calling for our guide and he was willing to send us further information if we were interested. I kind of wondered-I thought the guides called. At first I thought she was our new guide, but she mentioned our guide by name several times and said she was calling for him. Is this typical-that the guides are so busy they can't call themselves?

Got a message from someone other than my guide today as a followup also. The same person also called last fall after an earlier webcast.

Frankly, it makes perfect sense to have someone cold call and "pre-screen" people to see if it's worth the actual guide's time. I'm quite sure the guides would like to know if there is a possible commission in it for them before they spend the time.
