We returned from Aulani last week, it is a beautiful resort. This trip was our second stay at Aulani and it was still as wonderful this trip as our first. The Ulu Cafe was built after our last stay and is a great addition to the dining options.
Except, that I wish they would serve something other than meatloaf for the daily plate.

I am already looking forward to our planned trip in February 2016. We are hoping to see whales off the coast at Aulani in addition to seeing them at Maui.

Our impression of Aulani was that we had a great time and it was the best we could have found if money was no object. At the same time there is major room for improvement particularly in the food options and lack of variability (part of this was that our kids nap in the afternoon when it seemed all the really fun stuff was happening). All said and done we didn't feel like it was worth the cost of renting points and probably won't go back.
