1. Is there a kid's club where I can drop off my DC during the day? How does it work (pay by the hour like babysitters? Or pay per stay)? DC will be turning 3 during our trip.
2. Is the newly open MonkeyPod restaurant walkable from Aulani? It's supposed to be next to Just Taco.
3. Does front desk have fridge to hold food for us? We plan to grocery shop prior to check in. Food will have to be fridged in case the room is not available.
4. Which one is cheaper : Target,
Walmart, Safeway or Foodland? We're not Costco member.
5. Does the pool have free toys for toddler? Like sand buckets..etc.
Thanks in advanced.
1. Auntie's Beach House is available for children ages 3-12. The children must be potty trained. There are many free activities offered, but parents have the option of signing up their children for some programs for a fee. We visited Auntie's Beach House in September and here is a link to some photos and description of some of its features:

When we were at Aulani in September, babysitting services were offered by the resort for a fee. Subsequently, some people have posted Aulani no longer offers a babysitting service. If this is important to you, you might want to check with Aulani directly.
2. The MonkeyPod restaurant, along with the ABC Country Store, Just Tacos, Two Scoops, etc., is an easy walk out the main entrance. Its about three blocks or so, so its easy for an adult. I imagine a 3-year old will want to be carried at least part of the way.
3. I'm not positive, but I think Bell Services can store cold items. I'll defer to someone else to answer your question.
4. Not sure which store is cheaper - other than I know that the ABC Country Store is convenient to Aulani, but carries 'convenience store' prices. The Target in Kapolei is about 5 miles from Aulani -- you'll pass it and the other stores as you go to and from Aulani and Honolulu.
5. Complimentary sand toys were offered to kids to use on the beach, and I think the toys included all the essentials: bucket, shovel, strainer, sand molds. Not sure if there were any toys for them to use at the pool. BTW, the Target store had lots of pool and beach toys. I didn't take pictures of the sands toys, but here is a photo of the Beach Rental sign:
If you have any other questions, just ask. BTW, the
Aulani Villas and Views thread has many more photos and information about Aulani.
